Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, fully remote Part-Time Bookkeeper with legal billing experience to support our legal accounting operations. This flexible role requires 25–30 hours per week, with the opportunity to set your own working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage legal billing processes and client invoicing. *clients may request us/our firm to use LEDES files, or work with their billing platforms (e.g., CounselGo, Collaborati, Serengeti, etc.)*
· Maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliations in QuickBooks.
· Prepare monthly financial statements and reports as needed *this may include accruals [meaning: the client will ask for what’s ‘in queue’ for our billing so they can allocate sufficient budget on their end]*.
· Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure accurate recording of billable hours and client payments.
· Assist with other general bookkeeping tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience
· Minimum 2 years of accounting experience within a legal environment.
· Proficiency with QuickBooks and intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills required.
· Prior hands-on legal billing experience.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Please note: Payroll duties are NOT included in this role.
