Job Description

- Lead the implementation and expansion of Workday functionality across purchased modules, with a primary focus on HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Absences
- Own and perform functional configuration within Workday, including business process frameworks, eligibility rules, condition rules, validations, and security-related impacts
- Review, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Workday configurations and designs to resolve issues, improve usability, and align with evolving business needs
- Recommend and define configuration and design changes, partnering with HR stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
- Serve as the functional authority for Workday design decisions, ensuring best practices, data integrity, and long-term sustainability
- Provide detailed configuration guidance and quality oversight to offshore resources, stepping in to execute configurations directly when needed
- Maintain, support, and enhance the Workday platform to ensure stability, accuracy, and reliable day-to-day operations
- Develop and maintain core reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR and business decision-making

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of hands-on functional Workday experience with deep knowledge of configuration across HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Absences, including the ability to review, troubleshoot, and validate existing configurations
- Proven experience owning Workday functional design, including recommending and defining configuration and design changes based on business requirements and Workday best practices
- Able to independently configure in Workday when needed, even if not all configurations have been executed end-to-end in prior roles
- Workday HCM Certification or equivalent end-to-end Workday implementation experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, translate business needs into system design, and guide Workday strategy and roadmap decisions
- Provides directional leadership to the offshore team, ensuring alignment, quality, and smooth execution across Workday initiatives

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience working across multiple Workday modules beyond core HCM
- Previous consulting experience
- Previous leadership responsibilities
