Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a BI engineering & analytics professional for one of our largest Telecom customers. This resource will partner closely with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to deliver actionable, customer‑centric insights. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in SQL with a deep understanding of BI architecture, experience in data storytelling, working in a GCP/BigQuery environment, and familiar with visualization tools such as Qlik and Looker. The role supports a wide variety of projects throughout the year, with a strong focus on measuring customer experience and product performance KPIs—particularly evaluating the impact of new AI-driven tools across the customer journey. Acting in an advisory and consultative capacity, this individual translates business requirements into clear analytical solutions, ensures alignment with technical delivery, and proactively communicates limitations or measurement challenges. Success in this role requires strong stakeholder management skills, a business‑first mindset, creative problem solving, and the ability to adapt quickly.

Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of hands-on SQL expertise with a strong understanding of BI architecture
-Proven ability to deliver high‑impact data visualizations and business‑driven storytelling (experience with Qlik and/or Looker)
-Experience working in a GCP environment, specifically with BigQuery
-Experience/familiarity with AI tools and the awareness of how to leverage said tools to work more efficiently (ex. Copilot)
-Experience in a stakeholder/customer facing environment with the demonstrated ability to track/measure product performance, customer experience, and KPIs
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Hands on experience with Python
-Experience/familiarity with Hadoop or Hive
