Job Description

Insight Global is seeking Electrical Manufacturing Engineers and Planners to join one of our large aerospace clients in San Antonio, TX. This will require being on-site where engineers will be working with design teams to transition electrical build plans to production. This role is focused on translating engineering data into clear, accurate installation and termination plans within systems. Success in this position requires strong technical writing, documentation accuracy, and similar system experience. The individual will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to take electrical designs from engineering and convert them into executable build and installation documentation.

Key Responsibilities
• Convert engineering data into electrical installation plans and termination plans (OSIPS, 288s)
• Create, update, and manage planning documentation rather than performing engineering design
• Process and support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Change Requests (CRs)
• Perform sign off work and ensure documentation accuracy and compliance
• Work within systems including OSIPS, WIRS, IVT, and Gold ESP
• Support electrical planning and liaison engineering functions
• Pull and manage tickets through Gold ESP (system of record)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to clarify intent and ensure documentation reflects current design
• Ensure documentation readiness for manufacturing execution

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years of experience translating electrical design requirements and putting them into a sequences plan/build plan in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
-Previous Boeing Commercial aircraft experience
-CATIA proficient
-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
-Software experience: WIRS, WQCS, and MES CI
-Experience with IVT or GoldESP
-Understand and navigate engineering drawings and BOM (bill or materials)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Previous experience compiling tools lists needed for projects
-Experience annotating 3D graphics
-Structures experience/ floor experience as a mechanic or quality role
-Bachelors in Engineering
