Job Description

• Lead execution of complex projects under a nationwide DoD A/E IDIQ contract
• Serve as primary client interface for Department of Defense stakeholders
• Coordinate joint venture operations with a protégé firm and A/E subconsultants
• Supervise and mentor engineers and construction management professionals
• Develop and lead task order proposals, including pricing and execution planning
• Oversee task order delivery (scope, schedule, budget, QA) across multiple projects
• Monitor project performance and manage risks
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and company policies
• Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and leadership
• Support business development by identifying and pursuing new task order opportunities

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Registered Architect (RA) in at least one U.S. state
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale A/E or design-build contracts
• Experience in Department of Defense (DoD) or federal contracting environments
o Proven experience leading IDIQ or multi-task order contracts (ideally $500M+)
o Strong project delivery, budgeting, resource management, and quality control skills
o Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, UFC, and other DoD standards

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
• Experience with sustainability, resilience, or energy performance initiatives
• Prior military service
• Experience with NAVFAC, USACE, AFCEC, or other DoD engineering organizations
• Active or prior tour with AFCEC or USACE
• Membership in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME)
