Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Manager of Security Operations to support one of our midstream clients. In this leadership role, you will oversee the cybersecurity operations team (8 direct reports)—including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management—while driving operational excellence. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies, procedures, and protocols that safeguard the organization’s critical assets. The role will be about 60% leading/managing team members and 40% technical/MSP management. This position is based onsite in Houston four days per week, with Fridays typically remote.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in cybersecurity operations, 2+ years in a leadership role
- At least one certification: CISSP, CEH, GIAC (CIH/GSEC), NIMS, GCIH
- Strong experience leading incident lifecycle from to containment and eradication and understanding of CIS and NIST frameworks
- Experience with Microsoft SecOps Stack - Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID
- Experience with IT/OT environments
-Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration; ability to conduct audits and investigations
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Fortinet experience for networking
- Oil and gas experience
