Job Description

The Plumbing / Piping Foreman is a hands‑on, working foreman responsible for installing commercial plumbing and piping systems while coordinating daily tasks in the field. This role spends the majority of time working with tools alongside the crew, not managing projects or leading foremen.
This position supports ground‑up hospital and medical facility construction as well as large‑scale commercial projects including data centers, universities, and semiconductor facilities.
Residential construction and oil & gas experience are not applicable for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily installation work for commercial plumbing and piping systems
Install piping systems per drawings and specifications (domestic water, sanitary, storm, med gas where applicable)
Work directly with tools and equipment alongside the crew
Lay out work areas and sequence daily tasks based on plans
Coordinate day‑to‑day activities with supervision and other trades
Ensure work is installed correctly, efficiently, and safely
Identify field issues and communicate them promptly to supervision
Assist with inspections, testing, and punch‑list work
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Support productivity by keeping materials, tools, and work areas ready

Required Skills & Experience

Strong background in commercial plumbing and piping installation
Experience working on ground‑up healthcare or large‑scale commercial projects
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency installing commercial plumbing/piping systems
Experience working in fast‑paced, schedule‑driven environments
Comfortable working full‑time in the field (hands‑on role)
Strong safety awareness and jobsite discipline
Reliable, consistent work history (no job hopping)
