Job Description

Insight Global is seeking Operations Analysts to join a leading global investment bank and financial institution for an on-site contract opportunity in Dallas. This person will join the regulatory uplift team in order to provide risk and legal operational support. This role supports firmwide risk management decision-making by extracting, interpreting, and validating key risk terms from executed legal agreements. The analyst reviews post-execution contracts—including various trade, ISDA and prime brokerage agreements. This person will ensure accurate capture of risk data into internal systems that ultimately feed to various teams internally. The position requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with large datasets, and the ability to interpret complex legal and financial contract terms.

Responsibilities Include:
Contract Review & Data Extraction
- Review post-execution, negotiated contracts and extract risk-related terms and data points.
- Enter extracted data into internal risk systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Extract and manage up to hundreds of data points per document (often 500–800+ fields per contract).
- Support pre-execution contract reviews, assisting negotiators in identifying potential errors or risk issues before execution.

Quality Control & Accuracy
- Participate in a four-eyes review process, working closely with peers to validate data accuracy.
- Identify and flag discrepancies, missing data, or inconsistencies in contract interpretation.
- Maintain high data quality standards, as outputs directly support credit and risk decision-making.

Daily & Ongoing Workflow
- Review and process a set number of contracts daily, assigned at the start of each workday.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve interpretation questions and ensure alignment.
- Track work progress and maintain documentation of completed reviews.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Produce weekly reporting on productivity and quality metrics, including: Number of agreements reviewed, Errors identified and corrected, Turnaround times
- Participate in team discussions focused on process improvements, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Contribute feedback on what is working well and where efficiencies can be gained.
- Assist with process enhancements related to contract digitization, data extraction, and system integration.
- Participate in user testing and validation for new tools and platforms being onboarded.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1+ years of work experience in a legal or banking function
- Understanding of capital markets and trade flow
- Strong reading and interpreting legal or financial contracts, particularly risk-related terms.
- Experience in Excel, including managing large datasets
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to translate complex contractual language into structured data.
