Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join a team of 8 in the Property Accounting department for a large utility company in Houston, Texas. This team is mainly focused on ensuring money spent on building and maintaining utility assets is recorded correctly, capitalized properly, and reported accurately for financial and regulatory purposes. This role involves reviewing a variety of work orders and their respective long texts in SAP, communicating with engineers and operations on any missing information needed, then finally adding the missing assets in the books.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience using SAP for accounting or financial modules
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience reviewing work orders in SAP and familiar with long text
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in the electric utility industry
- Strong knowledge in property accounting for utility industry
