Job Description

A large operator is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in support of liquid terminal and pipeline projects. The engineer will be responsible for engineering and design duties associated with storage of liquids in atmospheric and pressurized vessels, transportation of liquids via pipeline, rail, truck, and marine vessels. Other responsibilities include performing hydraulic analysis for hazardous liquids and gasses and specifying/selecting mechanical equipment, materials, and components.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
-Experience working in liquid terminal or liquid pipelines
-Background in design, construction, maintenance, or operations engineering in midstream industry
-Ability to develop materials and mechanical equipment specification, data sheets, and packages
-Experience making recommendations for selection of pumps, valves, vessels, flow meters, and similar materials
-Experience creating liquid hydraulic models of complex piping systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience with DNV Synergi Pipeline Simulator
-Experience with pipe stress analysis and Caesar II
