Job Description

A large fintech client is transforming trade clearing platforms to power innovative stock trading applications. They are seeking a driven QA Engineer / SDET passionate about software quality and delivering exceptional products. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, solve complex problems, and enjoy driving improvement across UI Functional, Automated, Performance, and Scalability testing practices. Key Responsibilities include:

-Quality Assurance: Participate in all SDLC phases, improving QA processes and non-functional testing (Performance, Scalability).
-Testing: Execute integration, smoke, regression, and accessibility tests to ensure stability and readiness.
-Test Planning: Develop functional, regression, E2E, and unit test plans
-Manual & Automated Testing: Conduct exploratory and automated tests; mentor teams on performance testing.
-Process Improvement: Collaborate with development teams to enhance testing protocols and advocate for quality.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
-5+ years in QA, including UI, manual and automated testing.
-Experience with the following testing tools: Typescript, Playwright, Cypress,
-Experience with AI tooling to develop test cases (preferably Claude code)
-Strong collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills
