Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a portion of their clients data migration project. This resource will be responsible for driving internal execution of financial or inventory/operation's domain engagements across a standardized four-phase lifecycle: Foundations, Core Data Enablement, Migration Support, Master Data Management, and Data Insights. This role manages milestone-level project plans for 1-2 business domains, coordinates cross-vertical delivery, enforces phase gates, and ensures accurate status reporting for portfolio visibility and leadership decision-making.
This is an internal execution role, paired with Business Engagement Leads who own domain relationships. The Project Manager ensures committed work is delivered on schedule across the vertical capability teams. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead standups, project status meetings, and phase gate reviews.
- Own and maintain Smartsheet project plans for assigned domain engagements using the standard lifecycle template.
- Drive project planning, coordination, and milestone sequencing across teams within the Corporate Data Office.
- Track milestone-level progress across project phases and vertical dependencies, like Information Architecture.
- Enforce phase gate criteria and manage dependencies.
- Proactively identify, manage, and resolve risks, issues, and delivery blockers.
- Provide clear documentation and reporting to support portfolio and leadership visibility.
- Partner closely with Engagement Leads on stakeholder expectations and delivery alignment.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of project management experience in technology or data-focused initiatives.
- Experience leading data projects like Data Migrations, Master Data Management, and Data Governance.
- Demonstrated success using hybrid delivery approaches (Agile, waterfall, and mixed models).
- High level of proficiency with Smartsheet and Azure DevOps.
- Proven ability to lead without authority and coordinate across diverse teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and planning capabilities.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making under ambiguity.
