Job Description
A client in the Plano, TX area is seeking a Traffic Engineer to support a growing portfolio of renewable energy development projects (solar, wind, and battery storage). This role partners closely with project leads to determine traffic-related needs early in scope development, deliver and/or coordinate traffic studies and roadway impact analysis, and provide high-quality QA/QC review of designs and deliverables.
The ideal candidate is consultative, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once while building trusted relationships across interdisciplinary teams. This position is expected to begin as an individual contributor with a focused ramp-up period (approximately 3–6 months). After onboarding and project familiarity are established, the role will expand to include oversight and mentorship of junior staff.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4-5+ years experience in traffic transportation (public infrastructure, traffic/transportation studies)
- Licensed PE
- Civil engineering degree
