JOB DESCRIPTION:
The MGT Site Electrical Engineer oversees the electrical installation of Medium Gas Turbines (20–62 MW) and related equipment. This role requires 80%+ travel across North America and regular coordination with engineering and management on project status and lessons learned.
Responsibilities:
• Advise customers on proper electrical installation
• Install and route wiring; verify all termination
• Lead and supervise subcontractors and electrical crews
• Attend coordination meetings with customers and partners
• Support installation of turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems
• Maintain a safe work environment and complete required documentation
• Review drawings, schedules, and plans; provide ongoing guidance
Serve as the primary on‑site contact and support maintenance activities

Required Skills & Experience
MUST HAVES:
• A bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of work experience in a powerplant environment or adjacent
Proficiency with schematics and reading cable charts
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PLUSSES:

Professional experience as an electrician, industrial electrician, or similar technical roles
