Job Description

The Network Operations Administrator is responsible for the day to day operational support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the organization’s network, telephony, and mobility environments. This role serves as the first line of network operations support, bridging the gap between Helpdesk and Network Engineering, with a strong emphasis on uptime, issue triage, and vendor coordination.

Provides support to the helpdesk for escalated network/telephony issues.
Support includes responding to user inquiries, questions & requests, usually by phone and/or email, but occasionally in person.
Provides dispatch coverage for coordinating network assignments, priorities, job schedules, completions and user notifications and follow up.
Handles some network preventative maintenance tasks.
Serves as initial point of contact from the IT department for the IT helpdesk.
Primarily incident based workload but also able to handle low and medium level project based work.
Able to respond to network outages and perform basic network/telephony troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma plus 1+ year of Network Operations Administration support
Hands-on experience supporting network infrastructure (access points, switches, firewalls), preferably in a Meraki or similar environment.
Experience with VoIP/phone systems (RingCentral or similar).
Experience supporting cellular mobility and mobile device programs, including working with carriers or vendors (Intune a plus).
Exposure to ISP or circuit-related troubleshooting.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience working in a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred).
Demonstrated desire to learn and grow into expanded operational responsibilities.
Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Healthcare or high-availability environment experience.
Intune experience is a significant plus.
