Job Description
The Media Operations Manager oversees the clients production crew, post-production editors, and engineering teams. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, high-quality delivery of all media content, from creative concept to final distribution. The Media Operations Manager provides guidance and management to optimize workflows and implement best practices, supporting content creation and delivery goals of an internationally syndicated show.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Leads and manages all media operations personnel, including production crew, post-production editors, and broadcast engineers, fostering a high-performance environment.
-Establishes and maintains technical and engineering standards for all media operations, from studio production to post-production, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and global broadcast specifications.
-Oversees all aspects of studio production, post-production, and broadcast operations, from live-to-tape recordings and content ingest through final delivery for worldwide syndication, ensuring timely, on-budget project completion.
-Manages the use, maintenance, and repair of all media technical equipment (including studio production and television production gear) and drives workflow optimization for efficiency and rapid turnaround.
-Supervises the use, maintenance, and repair of critical facility systems, including security, fire, HVAC, data processing, and telephone infrastructure.
-Ensures rigorous quality control for all media content and operational integrity across all managed systems.
-Collaborates with content creators, producers, and external syndication partners to ensure seamless execution and delivery, acting as a primary point of contact.

Required Skills & Experience
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiar with both Windows and macOS operating environments.
-Familiarity with key production and post-production software, including the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects) and Pro Tools.
-Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Able to remain calm in stressful situations while managing urgent deadlines.
-Possesses a diplomatic and problem-solving attitude.
Flexible to work overtime as required.
EDUCATION:
-Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Broadcasting, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a closely related technical field is preferred.
-Relevant professional certifications or an equivalent combination of extensive experience and education may be considered.
EXPERIENCE:
-Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience in media operations, broadcasting, or facilities technical management.
-1-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly preferred, demonstrating an ability to guide teams and workflows.
-Direct experience with live-to-tape production environments and managing content for worldwide syndication is highly desirable.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
-Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to co-workers
