Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to represent a top technology client servicing the energy & data center industry. The main function of this role will be to help coordinate on-site delivery and logistics of data center modules. The person in this role will be one of two company representatives when visiting client sites. They will track and coordinate missing or replacement parts, lead quality triage process, facilitate communication between client general contractors, sub-contractors, manufacturing facility and operation teams. Additionally, they will perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (ability to read mechanical & electrical drawings, understand product technical requirements, ability to communicate technically with stakeholders) when coordinating onsite delivery and commissioning.

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of relevant industry experience (e.g., hyperscale contractor, data center construction, electrical or mechanical subcontracting, field engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, maintenance engineering, project management).
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or civil engineering OR 2–4 years of military experience in a related technical field
Ability to plan, organize, and execute logistics operations to support project timelines and deliverables.
Strong communication skills to engage with clients professionally, ensuring clear, effective, and solution-oriented dialogue.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in managing third - party contractors, including performance monitoring, compliance, and coordination.
Experience in hyperscale or data center environments.
Background in manufacturing or production management.
Prior roles involving subcontractor management.
Field engineering or maintenance engineering experience.
Strong cross‑functional coordination experience (customers, suppliers, internal teams).
Advanced troubleshooting or diagnostics capabilities across both mechanical and electrical systems.
