Job Description
The Land Analyst plays a critical role in supporting land acquisition efforts by identifying, analyzing, and securing land opportunities. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to building relationships with landowners and developers.
• Source new land opportunities through cold calling, networking, and relationship building.
• Prepare and manage land acquisition packages for internal review and approval.
• Coordinate and schedule tasks related to land acquisition projects.
• Submit required documents accurately and on time to meet contractual deadlines.
• Gather and analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Evaluate land values, zoning regulations, and development potential.
• Utilizing Excel proforma to show economic effects on the current deals.
• Engage in networking events to build a portfolio and strengthen industry connections. Maintain a strong portfolio of contacts with landowners, developers, and brokers.

Required Skills & Experience
• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
• 1+ years of industry experience (Land acquisition/ development, entitlements)
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with a construction, residential, homebuilder, real estate
• Must be able to problem solve and think independently
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Pivot tables and V-look ups
• Financial experience
