Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Privacy Analyst to join a growing, fast‑paced organization in Dallas, TX. This role supports the company’s privacy program by actively owning and executing core privacy operations, while continuing to grow depth across the broader privacy landscape over time.
This position is ideal for someone with foundational, hands‑on data privacy experience who can contribute quickly to day‑to‑day privacy activities and partner closely with Legal, IT, Security, HR, and business teams.

-Key Responsibilities:

-Own and execute day‑to‑day privacy operations, including:
-Data subject request (DSR) intake, tracking, and fulfillment
Privacy contract reviews and vendor assessments
Data mapping and maintenance of records of processing activities (RoPA)
-Directly support and administer privacy tooling, including cookie consent and tracking compliance platforms (e.g., OneTrust or similar)
-Draft, update, and maintain privacy policies, procedures, notices, and internal guidance with clear linkage to privacy principles and regulatory requirements
-Monitor privacy metrics, incidents, and trends; support incident response and risk assessments in partnership with Legal and Security
-Verify system and process alignment with internal privacy standards and applicable regulations
-Assist with audits, regulatory inquiries, and internal privacy reviews
-Translate privacy requirements into practical guidance for cross‑functional partners and help drive adoption in a corporate, in‑person environment
-Stay current on evolving privacy laws and contribute to internal training and a strong culture of privacy awareness

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Legal Studies, Cybersecurity, Business, Compliance, or a related field
-2+ years of hands‑on experience in data privacy, data protection, or privacy compliance, with direct ownership of at least some privacy responsibilities
-Demonstrated experience working in privacy systems or tools (not just coordinating reviews), such as:
Cookie consent and preference management platforms ; DSR intake/workflow tools; Data mapping or information governance tools
-Foundational, working knowledge of core privacy principles and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, CAN‑SPAM, PIPEDA) and the ability to apply them in real scenarios
Experience drafting, updating, or maintaining privacy policies, procedures, or notices, with clarity on personal ownership and contribution
-Ability to work independently on assigned privacy tasks while knowing when to escalate or seek guidance
-Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating in‑person with cross‑functional stakeholders in a corporate environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or CIPT
-Experience with OneTrust, particularly cookie compliance or consent management modules
-Exposure to audits, risk assessments, or incident response related to data privacy
-Experience supporting a growing or fast‑moving business where priorities evolve quickly
