Job Description
The Senior UKG Integrations Architect will lead a strategic project to integrate UKG WFM with Deltek Costpoint (CP), focusing on labor allocations, employee updates, and consistent, auditable data flows. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the integration, ensuring accurate labor costing, system mappings, and real-time data availability with full auditability.
The ideal candidate will combine deep UKG WFM expertise, strong integration and data-mapping skills, and experience working with project-based ERP systems to deliver a robust, scalable solution.
Project Objective
In collaboration with 3rd party vendors, deliver a fully functional, auditable, and maintainable integration between UKG WFM and Costpoint, enabling accurate labor allocations, employee updates, and financial reporting, while providing end-users visibility and real-time control over mappings.
Key Responsibilities
Labor Allocation & Employee Data
· Complete UKG WFM labor allocations for all employees, ensuring alignment with organizational rules and financial reporting needs
· Validate that Costpoint (CP) receives all necessary mappings to accurately process labor and employee updates
· Troubleshoot and remediate any discrepancies between UKG and CP labor allocations
Mapping & Documentation
· Develop robust, consistent, and consolidated mapping documentation between UKG and CP, including detailed field-level translations
· Design a real-time, end-user editable interface mapping tool with built-in audit tracking to allow HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to view, update, and approve mappings
· Ensure all mapping updates are controlled, auditable, and aligned with compliance requirements
Monitoring & Preventive Controls
· Monitor meta-data and configuration changes between UKG and CP to identify gaps or exceptions proactively
· Implement preventive reporting for potential integration issues, mapping misalignments, and labor allocation errors
· Support reconciliations, audits, and operational risk mitigation efforts
Integration Architecture & Delivery
· Define data flows, transformation logic, and error-handling procedures to maintain system integrity
· Lead testing cycles including unit testing, system integration testing, and parallel payroll validation
· Partner with IT, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure smooth deployment and go-live
· Act as the technical SME and integration lead for the project
Project Documentation
· Document system configurations, mappings, transformations, and controls for ongoing support
· Provide knowledge transfer to HRIS and Finance teams for operational sustainability

Required Skills & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HRIS, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· 8+ years of HRIS or systems integration experience with UKG WFM
· Hands-on experience integrating UKG with Deltek Costpoint or similar project-based ERP systems
· Strong understanding of labor allocations, job costing, and payroll processes
· Experience building real-time mapping interfaces and audit-enabled controls
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· UKG certifications (Pro, WFM, or Integration Hub)
· Experience in government contracting, defense, or project-based environments
· Prior experience delivering audit-ready, integrated solutions for HRIS and financial systems
