Accounting Manager

Insight Global is partnering with a rapidly growing organization in Austin, TX to hire an Accounting Manager! This is a fully onsite role (M-F), offering direct exposure to leadership, hands on ownership, and the opportunity to help shape processes within a dynamic, scaling environment.

The Accounting Manager will own core accounting functions, including month end close, general ledger management, and technical accounting. This is a hands on role requiring preparation of work, technical memo drafting, and audit support. The company operates in a multi entity structure with complex intercompany relationships and consolidations - ideal for someone who thrives in full-cycle accounting and enjoys navigating complex operational environments while improving processes.

Ideal candidates have supported organizations with multiple entities and intercompany transactions, enjoy optimizing workflows, and excel at partnering with business leaders.

What You'll Do:
• Oversee month-end close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Draft technical accounting memos aligned with US GAAP and FASB standards.
• Support audit processes and maintain compliance with accounting policies.
• Handle complex accounting areas such as leases, fixed assets, and stock compensation.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist on ERP-related initiatives and broader process improvement projects.
• Establish and refine accounting procedures as the organization grows.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Background in multi-entity environments, intercompany transactions, and consolidations.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and technical accounting.
• Proven ability to design and implement accounting systems.
• Highly motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• CPA certification.
• Manufacturing or Big Four accounting background.
• Experience in a startup or growth-stage company.
