Job Description
An Insight Global client is currently looking for a SAP APO–PP Specialist who will lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Advanced Planning & Optimization (APO) modules—including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, GATP, and PP/DS—within SAP ECC environment, while providing secondary support for SAP Production Planning (PP) to ensure seamless planning-to-execution integration. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, hands-on experience with global APO implementations, and the ability to collaborate with offshore teams. Responsibilities include managing planning boards, capacity planning, detailed scheduling, and master data maintenance, as well as driving continuous improvement and delivering high-quality documentation, testing, and training. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with expertise in APO and PP, capable of leading small-to-medium projects, optimizing supply chain processes, and supporting operational stability. Travel up to 25% may be required, and the position is hybrid with three days onsite in Houston. This person will be compensated $70–$74/hour depending on their experience.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor’s in CS, MIS, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
-8+ years SAP (APO focus, PP secondary).
-3+ global implementations.
-Integration with ECC modules (PP/MM/SD/FI/PA).
-Strong communication, documentation, and problem solving skills.
-Ability to lead projects and collaborate with offshore teams.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Multi-plant/global experience, S&OP/IBP knowledge, SAP certifications, Lean/Six Sigma familiarity.
