Job Description
An employer is looking for a Social Media Specialist in the Plano, TX area. You will be primarily responsible for posting, scheduling, community engagement, and collaborating with the social care team to contribute hands on, organic social execution. You’ll also contribute to content creation, including being on camera, and provide analytics reporting to inform strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute daily posting and scheduling across all organic social platforms on Pizza Hut owned channels (Meta, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and Reddit) in collaboration with agency partners.
• Engage with content through comments; partner with the social care team for customer service and engagement.
• Track and report on performance metrics; provide actionable insights to improve engagement.
• Occasionally, create content, including short-form video and trend-driven posts; be comfortable appearing on camera.
• Assist in planning content shoots.
• Stay ahead of social trends and recommend new content formats.
• Produce and manage social lightning moments that lead the brand in culture.
• Support influencer activations and UGC initiatives as needed.
• Contribute and present organic social strategy, learnings, and recommendations to senior leadership

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years experience in social media execution/ community management
Experience with social scheduling tools (Sprout, etc.)
Strong experience with organic social execution
Comfortable with content creation and basic video editing
Well versed with analytics and ability to analyze data/ reporting
Passionate about social trends and brand storytelling
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Education in marketing/ analytics
