Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a SharePoint Developer for a contract role in the Houston area with an oil and gas client of ours. This resource will be responsible for the support of the internal IT team to implement new requirements and design building out intranets on SharePoint. You will work along side the IT team to gather requirements, take on meetings, and take the vision into implementation in SharePoint. This is a M365 environment and would prefers someone with that experience as well as handling SharePoint Online. Other responsibilities may include custom design of components in a variety of technologies and leverage SharePoint online out of the box features for the teams needs.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-6 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer
- Experience building out intranets on SharePoint
- Experience taking requirements and design and implement into SharePoint
- Experience working in a Microsoft 365 environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Local to Houston and could visit on site a few times
- Knowledge of deployment processes and code lifecycle management using GitHub or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of PnP libraries and best practices.
