Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Epic Application Analyst to join our dedicated team responsible for managing Epic user access and provider data integrity. This role ensures accurate user and provider provisioning and seamless support for clinical and operational teams. The position is contract-to-hire, offering an opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and organizational needs in July 2026. Completion of Epic Security Certification is required before July 2026 transition.
The Epic Application Analyst is responsible for advancing the functionality and operational efficiency of Information Systems utilizing their expertise in Epic Applications. This entails basic to intermediate analysis, design, configuration and implementation. This position is responsible for ensuring integration of technology into effective workflow and process design as well as ensuring operational efficiency of assigned Epic applications and integrated technology. Provides ongoing analysis, consultation, problem-solving, collaboration and application support to users. Also responsible for contributing to related project work and system training. The Epic Application Analyst typically reports to an ISD manager or above.
Key Responsibilities:
• Epic User Account (EMP) Management
o Create, update, and maintain Epic user records.
o Activate/inactivate user accounts and manage template/sub-template assignments.
o Validate training completion for user unblocks.
o Manage Epic job category library and concatenation strings.
o Support non-production environment user creation.
o Support SailPoint automation processes and troubleshoot exceptions.
• Provider Records (SER) Management
o Maintain and update provider records, including credential validation and address updates.
o Resolve MSO interface messaging errors and manage “provider on-the-fly” additions.
o Assist with duplicate provider resolution and provider audits.
• Incident & Task Management:
o Triage and resolve ServiceNow incidents and work orders.
o Provide on-call support on a rotational basis for urgent access issues.
• Collaboration & Support:
o Partner with application teams, credentialing, and operational leaders for access and provisioning needs.

Required Skills & Experience
Education: Associates degree, preferred
Licenses/Certifications: Epic Security Certification required before July 2026 transition to FTE
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
• Two (2) years of equivalent experience in related areas such as healthcare, education, or technology required
• Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in a large, corporate systems development and implementation activities in a wide variety of Healthcare Management Information Systems (MIS) or similar experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation preferred
• Industry training and increasingly responsible experience with knowledge and skills in a large, complex corporate Information System
• Previous Epic or other Health Information Systems experience desired
• Basic working knowledge of Epic or other Electronic Health Record (EHR) application support, development tools and methodologies
• Good analytical skills and technical aptitude
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Good communication, collaboration and customer service skills
