Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Quality Management (QM) Java Engineer to join one of our largest financial service clients and sit local to Richardson Texas. This candidate will be joining the engineering team within Platform Solutions. This candidate must have strong expertise in Java programming and service-level automation using the Rest Assured framework. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for RESTful APIs, ensuring high-quality software delivery and compliance with service-level agreements. Also should be able to perform functional tests in sprint for the features and analyze failures via Splunk. The team is onsite, so the expectation is for this candidate to be in office 5x a week.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of professional experience with strong proficiency in Java (OOP concepts, collections, streams)
- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation.
- Excellent quality management/quality assurance experience with understanding of quality processes and Jira
- Knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes, headers, and REST principles.
- Experience with JSON/XML parsing and validation.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (Git).
· Exposure to API documentation tools (Preferred: Swagger, Postman).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
