Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Robotics Engineer to work for a client in DFW.
This individual must be capable of providing robotics engineering service for all typical process applications. You will be supporting, maintaining, and optimizing robotic systems within a manufacturing environment. The role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing downtime, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
· Create and teach others how to create new robot path programs using the robot teach pendant.
· Supervise teams of robot programmers.
· Dress and teach others how to dress robots.
· Debug and teach others how to debug robot interfaces.
· Perform robot reach studies and station cycle time analysis.
· Provide design suggestions for end-effector and tooling.
· Perform robot payload and inertia analysis.
· Create off-line robot programs.
· Download offline robot programs using the robot teach pendant.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong PLC experience
- Ability to troubleshoot Fanuc Robots
