Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Junior Azure DevOps Engineer to join one of its railcar manufacturing and leasing clients in Addison, TX. This is a support role focused on maintaining and enhancing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes for an existing Asset Management Systems project. The position involves handling ticket requests from internal employees. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with Azure services and DevOps practices and be looking for long-term growth within the company.

Day to Day Responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Managing and automating infrastructure provisioning using IaC (Infrastructure as a Code) tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
- Collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and deployment processes
- Monitoring, troubleshooting build, release, and infrastructure issues
- Maintaining and optimizing Azure environments, including App Services, AKS, VMs, and networking components
- Implementing security best practices to ensure compliance across DevOps workflows
- Contributing to documentation, process improvement, and knowledge sharing with the team

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps tools (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts).
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python through coursework, internships, or previous roles.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with Azure services and cloud infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git through course work, internships, or previous roles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) or AZ-400 (Azure DevOps Engineer).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
