Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a dynamic logistics environment. This role does require you to work onsite in North Houston Monday - Friday from 8-5 PM and have the option to work remotely one day a week. This role is critical for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making through robust analysis of profit and loss (P&L) statements and general ledger activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and can translate complex financial data into clear, strategic recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

-Strong knowledge of P&L management, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.

-Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
