Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Java Developer to join one of our largest financial service clients and sit local to Dallas Texas. This candidate will be joining the engineering team within Platform Solutions to help build and support their technology that thousands of their clients use. To be successful in this role, this candidate must have excellent backend java development and should have hands on experience working with Spring, Kafka, and AWS background. This candidate must be sharp, independent, and enthusiastic to participate. The team is onsite, so the expectation is for this candidate to be in office 5x a week.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-4 years of backend Java Development experience
- Expertise with core java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring security, Spring data, and spring integration
- AWS background
- Experience with micro service based architecture
- Strong Mongo experience
- Experience with messaging frameworks, preferably Kafka
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Recent experience working in financial services industry
- Masters in computer science or related field
