Director of Solution Design

Insight Global is seeking a Director of Solution Design for one of their top clients. This candidate can sit in Houston, TX or the southern part of Columbus, OH. Director of Solution Design to lead our corporate logistics solutions team and drive the growth of our global 3PL services. This strategic role will oversee solution design initiatives, pricing strategies, and process improvements for a large service offering. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in warehouse design, industrial engineering, and logistics operations with strong leadership and client engagement skills. As the Director of Solution Design, you will collaborate with business development and commercial leaders to create tailored solutions for clients, support RFP/RFQ processes, and deliver impactful presentations. You will champion continuous improvement across our warehouse network, leveraging data analytics, lean methodologies, and emerging technologies to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost control. -Over 10+ years of experience as a Solution Design and over 6 years of management experience

-Evaluate logistics services and implement process improvements and technology enhancements.

-Support business development efforts, including client engagement, RFP/RFQ development, and solution design presentations.

-Review and monitor performance at logistics sites and for top clients to identify improvement opportunities.

-Collaborate with pricing teams to enhance costing models and assumptions.

-Manage people and projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
