Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Remote Title Searcher/Abstractor that specializes in the state of Maryland to support an industry-leading title company.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to assist with real estate transactions by conducting thorough research of public records and abstracting property information. This role is focused on identifying and compiling relevant data related to property ownership, liens, encumbrances, and legal descriptions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of title documentation, contributing to the overall integrity of the title process.

Required Skills & Experience

-2–5+ years of Title Search/Abstracting experience
-Conducts comprehensive searches of public and tax records to identify property ownership, legal descriptions, liens, encumbrances, and other title-related matters for commercial and industrial properties
-Abstracts and compiles relevant title data to assess the legal condition and insurability of property titles
-Prepares accurate and detailed title search reports and supports the creation of title commitments in accordance with company procedures
-Demonstrates a clear understanding of how title search activities integrate with broader team objectives and workflows
-Contributes to the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of title search deliverables through independent work
-Operates with limited supervision, applying discretion to improve search processes and outcomes
-Performs other search-related duties as assigned by management
-High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
