Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an experienced Operating Room RN, with specific experience in Neurosurgery to join Ardent in their Tyler, TX location. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for both clinical and administrative tasks, as well as training and leading the recent graduates relying on your previous experience. There is a $20,000 sign on bonus, as well as a relocation package for up to $10,000 depending on the distance of relocation.

Required Skills & Experience

- Current RN license (Texas RN or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
- With at least 1 year in neurosurgery (spine and/or cranial cases)
- BLS certification
- Proficiency in sterile technique, AORN standards, and perioperative workflows
- Ability to circulate neurosurgical procedures (scrubbing experience preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate complex cases
- Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia, neuromonitoring, and vendors

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- BSN or higher
- CNOR certification
- Experience with:
- Spine implants, cranial trays, neuro navigation, intraoperative imaging
- Trauma neurosurgery and emergent case flow
- Preference card management
- Leadership experience or charge/background in specialty coordination
- Familiarity with EPIC, surgical case scheduling platforms, and equipment tracking systems
