Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a highly technical and experienced BI Developer to join our Dallas-based team. The ideal candidate will be a Power BI and SQL expert who can immediately contribute to report development and migration efforts, working closely with a large on-site technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
Convert legacy reports into Power BI, supporting the team’s migration efforts.
Work extensively with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and SQL to deliver scalable BI solutions.
Manipulate and analyze data from BigQuery, DB2, and SQL Server environments.
Collaborate with a technical team of 100+ to support ongoing BI initiatives.
Ensure data accuracy, performance, and accessibility across reporting platforms.
Participate in root cause analysis and optimization of existing BI systems.
Stay current with BI trends and tools, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in BI development and data manipulation.
Expert-level proficiency in Power BI and SQL.
Strong understanding of data sources including BigQuery, DB2, and SQL Server.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Must be local to the Dallas area and available to work on-site at least 3 days per week (excluding Fridays).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is highly preferred.
