Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable ESS Technician to join our team on a long-term contract supporting preventative maintenance operations for Electronic Security Systems (ESS). This includes CCTV systems, access control, intrusion detection, and other related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ESS maintenance, a clean background, and the required certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on ESS components including:
CCTV cameras and recording systems
Access control panels and card readers
Intrusion detection systems
Intercom and alarm systems
Conduct system inspections, diagnostics, and minor repairs
Document maintenance activities, system status, and any issues found
Collaborate with team members and site personnel to ensure system uptime and reliability
Maintain compliance with safety and security protocols
Support transition planning as the team scales down from 8 to 3 technicians

Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience performing preventative maintenance on ESS systems
Clean background check and ability to pass a drug screening
A Bachelor's in Information Technology OR a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity OR a Bachelor's in Computer Science OR a Bachelor's in Information Systems OR a Bachelor's in Data Science OR a Bachelor's in Software Engineering OR designation A-531-1900 - Cyber Warfare Technician (CWT) OR DISA-US1383 OR CEH OR Cloud+ OR CySA+ OR GFACT OR GSEC OR PenTest+ OR Security+ OR SSCP.
