Infrastructure Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to join one of their top financial clients 3 days a week onsite. This individual will be joining the Application Production Support & Engineering team and will be responsible coordinating the delivery of infrastructure and compliance around end-to-end management of enterprise-wide technology projects and deliverables. They will support end-to-end infrastructure technology projects by gathering requirements and coordinating the design and build of hardware, including servers, network, and storage. The role has matrix execution responsibility across all technology organizations and the line of business, including the LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side responsible for delivering the program/projects.

They will partner with Program Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions as well as assist with technology estimates and manages low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects, including a full-scale deployment in a live environment. This person is proactive in driving projects forward while effectively balancing initiative and strategy. They build positive relationships with stakeholders and use the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities and make recommendations.

Must-haves
-8+ years experience within Infrastructure project management
-Strong understanding of leading large scale, complex infrastructure delivery projects (servers, storage, network, etc.)
-Well versed in supporting IT organizations & groups (cover anything from audit, NPT, revenue, regulatory, review of the trading book, TplusOne regulations, etc.)
- Experience using Jira for reporting and workflow management
-Financial services/banking experience (Enterprise level)
-Dynamic, delivery driven mindset! Get immersed in understanding the business, understand the problem they’re trying to solve and then synthesize that information into actional plan and delivery

Plusses
-Previous experience at Bank of America (Huge Plus)
-Scrum or Agile certifications
