Job Description

A client of Insight Global's in the food manufacturing industry is looking to hire a Lab/Quality Assurance Technician. You will ensure product quality and food safety by performing tests, inspections, and evaluations throughout the batching and production process. Maintain accurate records, follow lab procedures, and support continuous improvement in quality standards. Responsibilities include:
Test and inspect products during batching and production
Set up samples and maintain lab equipment
Record and report test results accurately
Monitor quality trends and notify supervisor of issues
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the lab
Follow GMP and food safety protocols

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in food science or related field preferred
Up to 1 year of lab or QA experience in food manufacturing
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry)
