Job Description
The Regional Controller is a hands-on, in-office role based at one of our Houston-area branches (Houston, Baytown, or Freeport). This role partners closely with the Regional Vice President, Sales & Marketing Director, HR Director, and the regional operating team, providing financial leadership across FP&A, reporting, and accounting.
We are seeking a self-starter with strong expertise in finance and accounting who can combine strategic insight with day-to-day execution.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead variance analysis and evaluate trends to identify risks and opportunities.
Forecast revenue and EBITDA using market demand, backlog, and costs.
Build connected financial plans and long-range strategic forecasts aligned with regional goals.
Accounting Oversight
Lead month-end close and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
Partner with payroll, AR, Credit, and Collections to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain internal controls and assist with contracts, insurance, compliance, and regional inventory.
Leadership & Partnership
Align financial performance with regional operational strategy.
Build strong relationships with regional leaders and communicate key financial insights.
Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred).
7+ years of finance/accounting experience with FP&A and month-end close expertise.
Experience in construction, equipment rentals, or related industries preferred.
Skills & Tools
Strong analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
Proficiency in JD Edwards, Salesforce, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
