Job Description
We are looking for a Junior System Architect to join a large logistics company in Irving, Tx. Listed below are some of the duties you will be responsible for.
Resolve complex technical sales support issues and respond to detailed customer product and spec inquiries.
Design cost-effective mechanical systems for bids and proposals, including OEM selection, pricing input, manpower planning, scheduling, commissioning, and spec compliance.
Lead mechanical design efforts for proposals, including layouts, drawings, and customer presentations.
Guide CAD concept development to ensure technical feasibility, constructability, and cost reliability.
Drive technical proposal creation, including demos, prototypes, and expert collaboration with consultants, owners, and subcontractors.
Define work scopes for construction trade packages and manage subcontractor inquiries.
Maintain and update product and system specifications, including third-party equipment knowledge.
Represent the company in customer meetings and support the sales team during bids and proposals.

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Architect, preferably within automated systems or infrastructure design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoMod, and Revit — ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with all three platforms.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project for scheduling and project tracking.
Recognized as a technical expert in the design and implementation of complex automated baggage handling systems.
