QA Engineer Automated 2

A client is looking for 2 QA Engineers Automated 2.

These hires will advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance (QA) section of IT-SEDS (Information Technology – Statewide Education Data System).

Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems. Reporting is heavy function here.

Functions will include the following:
1) Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases

2) Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases against HTML, PDF, and Excel Reports, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail

3) Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data

4) Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team

5) Execute performance and accessibility testing

6) Perform manual testing and data validation

- 7+ years of testing complex web applications
- 7+ years testing through entire software development life cycle
- 7+ years working with selenium and TestNG
- 5+ years with advanced Database/SQL Language
- 3+ years with Java Programming language work
- 2+ years with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or something close

- This is a reporting heavy role. These hires will be joining a team that is functioning between a lot of different projects. Someone who can adapt, quick learner, and can get things done quick is what I need.

- Experience using Apache POI and Apache PDFBox (hugeeee + the team is completely new to these two Apache items and someone who has experience is a big +)
- Previous experience with Zephyr Scale
- Previous Experience with JIRA

Any past SLED experience is also a great add
