Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Python Engineer to join the engineering team with one of our leading financial clients located in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for a seasoned developer with a strong background in Python and runtime environments, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and is passionate about understanding and debugging scalable, secure, and efficient systems. Your responsibilities will include:
-Design, develop, and maintain Python runtime environments
-Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
-Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments across various environments
-Troubleshoot and debug complex runtime issues in production and development environments
-Ensure code quality, security, and performance through automated testing and monitoring

Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of experience in Python development
-Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab
-Deep knowledge of SDLC best practices and agile methodologies
-Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization
-Understand how Python runs on different operating systems, i.e. Windows, Mac, etc.
-Proven ability to debug and resolve runtime and performance issues
-Familiarity with Linux environments
