Job Description

An O&G Operator in The Woodlands, TX is looking for a Structural Integrity Analyst to join their Mechanical Integrity team. This role is an on-going contract role that is renewed on an annual basis. This role will work a hybrid (Mon & Fri remote; Tues-Thurs in office) 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

This person will be responsible for the analysis of Structural Integrity assessments. They will receive integrity assessments from the inspection coordinator and be responsible for inputting integrity assessments into the client's data base. They will utilize that data to complete integrity assessments and determine alarm levels. This person will need experience in offshore structure damage modeling and an engineering degree.

Required Skills & Experience

Engineering degree (ABET accreditation), EIT or PE, or Masters degree

5+ years of experience of offshore structures assessments

Experience with linear and non-linear assessments (-Finite element analysis software (e.g., SACS, ABAQUS) -Hand calculations -Integrity assessments including damage modeling -Topsides deck checks -Fatigue - Ultimate strength -Blast)

Familiar with the following:
-AISC 335/360
-AWS D1.1
-API RP 2A 21st Ed., 2INT-MET, 2SIM, 2FSIM, 2L, 2FPS, and 2TOP
-Topsides and In-Service Inspection Plans (ISIPs)
-Inspection planning and execution
-New technologies instead of traditional approaches (e.g., use of “AI”)

Project management of assessments (time & deliverables)

Engineering drawings development and review
