Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the team of a top client in the Houston, TX area. The person in this role will be providing support in a fast paced and ever evolving Hyperscale Data Center Module environment. They will be accountable for the electrical scope and systems across the design, construction, assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning phases. They will be checking and approving drawings produced both in-house and by 3rd party partners. They will support the plant during the manufacturing stage. Additionally, they will provide physical troubleshooting and commissioning assistance. On a daily basis they will prepare TRs (Technical Requisitions) for electrical systems, fire systems, and various components and bulk MTOs (Material Take Offs) and detailed BOMs (Bill of Materials).

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
3-5 years of experience
Data Center experience
Background in power distribution
SAP, Solidworks, ETAP & Dialux
medium and high voltage power distribution systems design
understanding of UPS (uninterruptable power sources), diesel generators, medium and low voltage electrical switchgear, power distribution units, variable frequency drives, automatic/static transfer switches, electrical control systems, low voltage rectification systems
