An employer in the Houston, TX area is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to join their team. This individual will lead strategic growth initiatives across FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) and emerging ventures in energy solutions. Operating within a global matrix organization, the VP of Business Development will focus on cultivating relationships with oil and gas clients, primarily through in-person engagement in the Gulf region. This role centers on identifying opportunities, gathering market intelligence, and promoting the company's products and services. This person will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including tendering, commercial analysis, and senior stakeholders to drive long-term engagements and successful lease contracts.
This is a permanent role paying in the range of $220k - 250K annually

Masters Degree in Engineering or other relevant field
7-10 years experience in Engineering and Project Management
5+ years experience in the oil and gas industry
Understanding of FPSO business including technical and commercial components of FPSO Contracts
