Job Description

An employer is looking for a Sr. AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator in San Antonio, TX. This person will be responsibel for managing AWS workloads, overseeing system deployment, security and compliance. They will utilize AWS tools to ensure that systems run efficiently, troubleshooting as needed. Responsible for maintaining DOD system integrity and performance on the AWS cloud. Utilizes the AWS Console and CLI to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot systems. Support development teams with system administration on AWS and Kubernetes. Follow best practices using AWS Well-Architected Frameworks standards.

Required Skills & Experience

- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 10+ years of experience in system administration, for both Linux and Windows
- IAT Levell II certification: Sec+, CCNA-Security, CySA+
- Miminum 2 years of experience with Kubernetes and applied experience on containerized platforms
- CKA certification OR training on CKA
- 3 trainings or certifications of the below
o AWS Cloud Practicioner (Foundational)
o AWS SysOps Administrator (Associate)
o Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA)
o Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
o Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Bachelors degree in related field
