Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this position leads and oversees all aspects of Supply Chain Management for North American production. Key responsibilities include managing procurement contracts, materials planning, and inventory control to ensure an uninterrupted flow of materials to the production floor. This role develops and implements policies, procedures, and best practices related to purchasing and inventory management. Additionally, the position provides leadership to the purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and customs teams. The role is also responsible for cultivating strategic supplier relationships, driving cost reductions, and ensuring product quality is maintained.
This high visibility role is critical to the delivery of quality products and services to our customers and has a direct impact on the company's profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, direct, and oversee all functions of the Supply Chain Management including purchasing, logistics, warehouse, customs, contracts management, inventory management, and materials management.
Make recommendations to improve departmental processes and procedures, realize efficiency gains, reduce costs, and/or improve quality of services rendered.
Develop and execute key supply chain strategies and KPIs to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish and maintain an effective vendor management program to optimize supplier performance and relationships.
Ensure contracts are developed in alignment with company policies and compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in collaboration with key business units.
Monitor demand planning, inventory accuracy, and supplier coordination to meet customer service goals while maintaining inventory control.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to supply chain team members.
Foster cross-functional communication to align supply chain operations with organizational needs.

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a related Supply Chain Management field.
Demonstrated leadership experience as a manager and/or director with progressive leadership roles.
Comprehensive knowledge and skills in Supply Chain Management concepts and practices including purchasing, contracts, materials services, inventory management, strategic sourcing, and development of strategic alliances.
Inventory management software experience required (NetSuite preferred)
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and local reporting requirements.
