The AWS Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure within the AWS ecosystem. This role will enable cloud-native solutions to support enterprise data, application, and analytics platforms, ensuring operational excellence, security, and cost-efficiency. Other responsibilities include:
Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, following best practices and architectural standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Development, and Product) to gather requirements and translate them into effective cloud-based architectures.
Develop, manage, and version Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ensuring repeatability and consistency across environments.
Automate deployment workflows, monitoring, and incident response through CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools.
Monitor and analyze system performance, availability, and AWS costs; recommend and implement optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure cloud infrastructure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., data governance, privacy, and security).
Provision and manage core AWS services including VPCs, IAM roles/policies, S3, EC2, and others as needed.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies, automated backups, and failover mechanisms to support business continuity.

At least 4 years experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments with a focus on AWS
Hands-on with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC,
Experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
Understanding of network design principles, routing, DNS, VPN, and firewalls in AWS
Familiarity with AWS security best practices, compliance standards, monitoring, and cost optimization
CI/CD pipeline experience
