An employer is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their team in Spring, TX. He or she will be joining the Firmware Engineering team for their enterprise commercial products. The Engineer will be responsible for driving design, development and debugging of embedded software/firmware for hardware, ensuring efficient and reliable operations. He or she will write and execute testing plants, protocols and documentations for their assigned portion of the application and be able to create solutions for issues to integrate into the architecture. The Engineer will also design enhancements, updates and programming changes for portions and subsystems of firmware as well as be able to demonstrate the ability to collaborate with cross organizational teams. This role will be onsite in Spring, TX for 4.5 days and the pay ranges from $45 - $55/hr depending on experience and feedback from the client.

5+ years of work experience as a Firmware Developer or related field
Firmware programming experience in C++, Python and C
Experience with Git
Knowledge of firmware subsystems such as DSP, embedded code, EFI drivers and applications, and BIOS/UEFI
Demonstrated experience with debugging, designing enhancements/updates and overall architecture of product/solution
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems of Electrical Engineering
