Job Description

A global leader in contractor and supplier information management is seeking an HSEQ Specialist to filter/answer questions using their proprietary database, represent their team in meetings regarding functionality updates to their product, and participate in various research activities. This position requires strong familiarity with OSHA legislation and standards, ability to work as part of a team, and willingness to assist with the day-to-day demands inherent to a rapidly growing organization as well as lead various projects as needed. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below:

-Review contractor HSEQ documentation and processes, and communicate compliance/gaps regarding regulatory requirements
-Coordinate various product development and implementation initiatives related to HSEQ topics
-Manage review and verification quality processes, including quality metrics and KPIs
-Gather and implement on feedback regarding quality concerns and improvement
-Research and develop various resources and reference documents for clients
-Assist with New Business meetings, industry outreach events and organizations
-Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy procedures and meeting QMS and ISMS objectives

Required Skills & Experience

-4+ years of HSE experience
-Certification – preferred ASP or another professional designation and/or working towards additional designations (CSP)
-Understanding of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, related state statutes/regulations or local ordinances and ISO standards
-Ability to interpret and effectively communicate technical documents and legislative references
-Proficient skills in programs including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
-Demonstrated leadership and project management skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Skillful in contractor / supplier or reviewer management
-Proven skills or education in auditing HSE systems
-Technical knowledge of a contractor / supplier management database related to HSEQ
