Job Description
• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Conduct tax research and draft technical memos
• Support tax planning and strategy development for clients
• Assist with IRS and state audit responses
• Collaborate with senior staff on client deliverables and special projects
• Identify process improvements and contribute to internal efficiencies
• Participate in client meetings and help translate technical concepts into actionable insights

Required Skills & Experience
• CPA license (or actively pursuing with all exams passed)
• 1–3 years of experience in public accounting or tax-focused role
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax codes
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., UltraTax, ProSystem fx, or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals or closely held businesses
• Exposure to tax planning, not just compliance
• Interest in advisory, consulting, or cross-functional projects
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools or data analytics
• Demonstrated initiative in previous roles (e.g., process improvements, leadership in small teams)
